At the beginning on the video for "Everything," catchily grungy Vancouver band Dead Soft start off as three long-haired individuals playing on a completely white soundstage. By the end, however, it's a very different scene.
As the members blast through the peppy, infectiously fuzzy rock tune, they get pelted with eggs and sauce, with the whole thing eventually turning into a full-blown food fight. Meanwhile, frontman Nathaniel Epp has his long locks buzzed off while singing for the camera, and he takes a hammer to a perfectly functional-looking record player.

"Everything" comes from Dead Soft's self-titled album, due out on August 30 through Kingfisher Bluez.
Dead Soft will appear at this month's Victory Square Block Party in Vancouver on August 31 with Tough Age, Cool, the Shilohs and more. Before that, though, they will play a release party with the Courtneys, War Baby and Mosfett on August 21 at Vancouver's Cobalt.
