After dropping off a video for "Monnaie" late last year, Dead Obies have returned with a new track titled "Break."
The song arrives alongside a video directed by Martin C. Pariseau, who captures the crew during a writing retreat in rural Quebec. The creative process depicted onscreen comes ahead of the group's third full-length album.
A press release notes that "Break" is the first in a series of singles that Dead Obies will release ahead of the LP, which is teed up for a winter 2019 release. The band's last full-length effort was the Polaris Music Prize long-listed Gesamtkunstwerk, which arrived in 2016.
