Chicago rapper CupcakKe has quickly built an impressive career thanks to her sexually charged songs. Now, she's decided to call it quits, announcing she will be deleting her songs from streaming services and ending her career.

"So, this live will be the last video that y'all see of me," she revealed on a lengthy Instagram live video (which was captured below).

"All my career, y'all have known me to be a nice girl, which I am," CupcakKe continued. "Recently, the past night, and today, I just been sporadic. It's because I wanted to get as much attention as possible to let y'all know that I will no longer be doing music. And all of my music will be coming off every platform. I decided to give up. I decided to give up. I don't want to say give up, let go music because I feel as though I'm corrupting the youth."

CupcakKe explained that her feelings about corrupting the youth surfaced after she saw a video of a 13-year-old girl dancing to one of her songs. She also said that she has a gambling problem and that she lost $700,000 USD in a casino last year.

When CupcakKe mentioned that she had been "sporadic" over the weekend, the artist was likely referring to a series of tweets where she suggested that Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes were both racist. Since then, her entire Twitter page has been deleted.

CupcakKe has a history of erratic behaviour online. Last year, she was hospitalized after threatening suicide in a series of tweets. Here's hoping she still has people around her who can get her the help she needs.
