Earlier this year, Code Orange dialled back their punishing sonics to perform a stripped-down set of material for their "Under the Skin" livestream, and the band will now release the set as a live album.
Arriving this Friday (September 4), the 14-track Under the Skin is "conceptually akin to classic MTV Unplugged performances, but with digital twists and turns."
With that series in mind, the band took a page from MTV Unplugged alumni Alice in Chains, covering that band's "Down in a Hole." You can watch their performance of the song below.
Under the Skin will arrive digitally and on DVD. The latter is now available for pre-order. The forward-thinking Code Orange released Underneath earlier this year, which Exclaim! named one of the 33 Best Albums of 2020 So Far.
