West Coast singer-songwriter Cass McCombs drops a brand new rarities compilation titled A Folk Set Apart: Rarities, B-Sides & Space Junk, Etc. today (December 11) and to mark the occasion, he's shared a new video for "I Cannot Lie."
The collection brings together 19 songs from between 2003 and 2014 and shows the songwriter in "varying moments of reflection, madness and dark humour." "I Cannot Lie" serves as the opening track, and now it's been given some accompanying black-and-white visuals.
The clip was directed by Malcom Pullinger and uses footage from Ralph Arlyck's 2005 documentary Following Sean. Watch the video for "I Cannot Lie" in the player below.
