Boards of Canada Launch Extensive Vinyl Reissue Campaign

If you've ever contemplated paying big bucks for rare Boards of Canada vinyl, then you'll be thrilled to learn that the legendary electronic duo will be reissuing their back catalogue on wax. These will arrive this fall through Warp.

This is the first time the band's past material has been repressed on vinyl in more than five years. First is the campaign are the band's three prior full-lengths (not including this year's Tomorrow's Harvest). These will arrive on October 21 and include Music Has the Right to Children (1998), Geogaddi (2002) and The Campfire Headphase (2006).

The full-lengths will be followed on November 18 by the band's short-form releases: the mini-album Twoism (1995) and the EPs In a Beautiful Place out in the Country (2000) and Trans Canada Highway (2006). A vinyl reissue of the stellar Hi Scores EP (1996) will also arrive through Skam later this year.

There aren't any bonus tracks, but each reissue comes with a sticker from the era. Pre-orders will come with a 12" by 12" art print.

Each record comes on 140-gram wax. They are available to pre-order over at Bleep.
