Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke is continuing his Elements album series with its third instalment. The Singing Winds pt. 3 follows The Waves pt. 1 and The Flames pt. 2, and will arrive January 17 via KOLA Records/!K7.
Leading the album is single "It Wasn't Meant to Be," which details a failed relationship. "Once the dust has settled there might be the intention to be a grown up and achieve closure with the other party but sometimes, even with the best will in the world you can't get past the fact that this person, who you once loved, has hurt you," Okereke said in a press release. "It's a song about anger concealed in pleasantries."
Alongside his solo endeavours, Okereke is keeping busy with Bloc Party, having released the single "Flirting Again" earlier this year. It followed 2023's The High Life EP.
