Bad Brains' H.R. To Release Solo Album in Late September

Paul "H.R.” Hudson, best known for his work as vocalist for punk pioneers Bad Brains, plans on releasing a solo album titled Hey Wella on September 30. The collection of reggae songs features music written by Grant "OG” Garretson, as well as production work by three-time Grammy winner David Darlington.

Hey Wella will be released by DC Hardcore Records. H.R.’s MySpace page is currently streaming two songs from the album.

H.R. will be playing Toronto's Sound Academy on September 12, supporting Bedouin Soundclash.
