After sharing a video for "To Be" late last year, Andy Shauf's full-band project Foxwarren have now released a clip for "Sunset Canyon" alongside plans for their first-ever tour.
Directed by Laura-Lynn Petrick, the video stars actor and talk show host Busy Philipps, who is surrounded by nature in the sunny clip.
"The video was my ethereal gaze on a female seeking serenity in the nature that surrounds her," Petrick explained in a statement. "Inspired by Italian neorealism, Busy and I spent the day exploring the forests of the canyons and enjoying the winter sun reflecting with nature."
Philipps added, "'Sunset Canyon' is one of my favourite songs from the Foxwarren album and I basically have been making my own music videos to the song since it came out. Working with Laura-Lynn on the video was so amazing. She is such a talent and I loved the easy going vibe of the day, wandering through the canyon with her in my mom's dress from the sixties."
Foxwarren will tour their self-titled LP throughout late May, June and July, beginning with a date in their hometown of Regina on May 29. Further Canadian stops have been set for Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto, with support from Hannah Cohen.
