Vancouver singer-songwriter Alexandria Maillot has shared a video for her latest single "The Judge."
The song will appear on Maillot's upcoming sophomore record Benevolence, which is due out November 22. It's available for pre-order here.
The clip itself is a continuation of the "Messed It Up" video, taking place a long time after the initial storyline.
While the first part "focuses on the stages of grief in the immediate aftermath of a failed relationship", the new instalment "takes place quite some time after, where the protagonist has reached the acceptance stage of grief."
As Maillot explains, "The protagonist is finally able to internalize and address the various emotional states and find control within the chaos."
