Adolyne

"Brawler's Fracture"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 21, 2015

While Skot Hamilton is bracing himself for the release of KEN Mode's new Success LP, the metal musician also has work on the horizon from his other long-running project, Adolyne. Their of Ash / of Shit / of Shame LP comes out June 30 through No List Records, but you can get brutalized by the discordant album track "Brawler's Fracture" right now through Exclaim!

The track is plenty oppressive and hurtles into a hurt-inducing display of quick-draw drum blasts, atonal noise-rock riffery and the frightening howls of Hamilton. Though never letting up in its intensity, the back half of the track slows down the pace considerably, opting for more snail-paced gloom and doom and distorted vocals.

You'll find the premiere of the track down below, as well as some upcoming Adolyne tour dates.

As for Hamilton's duties with KEN Mode, the band's Success is due June 16 via New Damage Records/Season of Mist and will be supported with live dates as well. You'll find that band's schedule over here.

Tour dates:

07/10 Calgary, AB - Broken City
07/11 Edmonton, AB - Filthy Mcnasty's
07/17 Brandon, MB - the North Hill Inn
07/18 Winnipeg, MB - Park Theatre
07/24 Saskatoon, SK - Amigos Cantina
