The Acorn Announce Fall Tour, Premiere "Dominion" Video

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Sep 23, 2015

Ottawa-based indie folk outfit the Acorn released their latest album Vieux Loup back in the spring, and they'll be taking the new material out for a spin on the road for an upcoming fall tour, presented by Exclaim!

Led by Rolf Klausener, the live lineup is rounded out by drummer Pat Johnson, keyboardist Adam Saikaley and bassist Martin Charbonneau. The upcoming string of shows will see the band playing across Ontario and Quebec, starting in Montreal on October 15. Following dates in Burnstown, Kingston and Wakefield, things will wrap up in Toronto on October 24 at the Anchored Social Club for the Feast in the East festival.

In addition to the tour dates, the Acorn have shared a new video for Vieux Loup cut "Dominion," which features vocals by Boyhood. It contrasts shots of wildflowers and water with more industrial elements of the landscape like buildings and chainlink fences, all brought together with some artistic split-screen effects.
