Watch a New Trailer for 'Space Jam: A New Legacy'

So far, early leaks from the new Space Jam span from kind of weird to downright stupid (albeit with some solid music), and today's new trailer looks like a similarly mixed bag.

The good? Malcolm D. Lee's big sequel certainly makes the most of its animated potential, and many of the scenes look downright excellent as they pair 2D and 3D worlds.

The not so good, however, are the jokes, which include Daffy Duck delivering an eye-rollingly cliche "Well, that happened!" after something happened.

The trailer this time is soundtracked by Lil Uzi Vert's "Pump Up the Jam" and Cordae & Duckwrth's collaboration "Settle the Score."

Space Jam: A New Legacy — or Space Jam 2, if you prefer — will arrive on July 16 in theatres. Meanwhile, the Space Jam: A New Legacy Official Soundtrack will arrive on July 9 via Republic Records/Warner Bros. Pictures.
