Lil Baby & Kirk Franklin's "We Win" Suggests 'Space Jam 2' Will at Least Have Good Music

The new Space Jam movie looks kind of weird and will apparently have some terrible corporate synergy with other media properties. While they were smart enough to not include a cringe-sounding scene that involved Pepé Le Pew learning about consent, the movie has us worried. One thing they seem to be getting right, however, is the soundtrack.

The original Space Jam soundtrack, released in 1996, was packed with memorable moments, including standout tracks from Seal, the Spin Doctors and an early JAY-Z (who was still Jaÿ-Z).

Today, Lil Baby and Kirk Franklin shared a new track called "We Win." Produced by Just Blaze, it doesn't quite live up to the hooping masterpiece "Hit 'Em High," but it's still a fantastic family-friendly hip-hop banger that captures some of the energy of the original soundtrack.

Listen to "We Win" below.

Space Jam: A New Legacy — or Space Jam 2, if you prefer — will arrive on July 16 in theatres and on HBO Max. So far, no further details about the accompanying soundtrack have been released, so stay tuned.
