The Space Jam sequel is finally about ready to arrive, but all we've seen until today was a brief, seconds-long clip in an HBO Max sizzle reel. While we await an actual trailer, today we get some more stills thanks to an official first-look.

Entertainment Weekly put LeBron James and the Looney Tunes gang on their cover this week, sharing some official stills from the flick in the process.

"It's one of the biggest games, if not the biggest game, I've ever played in," LeBron said. "The Goon Squad is probably the best team ever assembled in basketball history."

He also said that he was offered a Space Jam role 15 years ago but declined because didn't think he was ready. Fortunately, he eventually signed on and will star in Malcolm D. Lee's movie when it arrives in theatres and on HBO Max on July 16.

Check out plenty of new images from the movie below.
