Stath Lets Flats — the best comedy ever made about a bumbling Greek immigrant letting agent in London — is officially coming back for Season 3, and it will be arriving this year.

Producer Ash Atalla confirmed the news on Twitter yesterday (June 7), NME points out. "It's STATH LETS FLATS s3 coming later this year. All the flats all the jokes all the time. Yalla LETS go," he wrote.
The news follows the confirmation last October that the third season — or series, if you prefer — of the UK comedy would be coming into our lives. And while Atalla didn't give us a firm premiere date for the upcoming season, at least we can now expect it to arrive before the year is out.

The BAFTA-winning Stath Lets Flats first aired on Channel 4 in 2018, with its second season arriving in 2019. It stars the show's creator Jamie Demetriou, as well as his IRL sister Natasia Demetriou (who you may also know from What We Do in the Shadows).

When news first broke that there would be a third season, it was revealed it would pick up from the cliffhanger ending that closed Season 2, with Stath left scrambling to save the family business. The upcoming season also promised to focus on relationships between Stath (Jamie Demetriou) and Katia (Ellie White), and Sophie (Natasia Demetriou) and Al (Al Roberts).

When Season 3 was first announced, Jamie Demetriou said: "This is lovely. I love Channel 4. Thanks so much for having us back for a series three. Sorry the title is still hard to say. Love Jamie Demetriou from Stalph Les Flav."

As previously reported, there have been plans for an American remake of the hit UK show.
