Jacob Tremblay Celebrates 11th Birthday by Turning into Eleven from 'Stranger Things'

Canadian actor Jacob Tremblay won over hearts with his performance in 2015's Room (and the ensuing red carpet appearances at awards shows) — and the youngster still has plenty of career opportunities ahead of him, having just turned 11 years old yesterday (October 5).

To mark the special day, the actor took to Twitter to share an adorable Photoshop job. Appropriately enough, it features the no-longer-10-year-old's face digitally manipulated onto Eleven from Stranger Things.

In the photo, Tremblay rocks the character's trademark pink dress and blue jacket, and even added in a little trickle of blood under his nose. There were no Eggo waffles to be found, though.

Tremblay's not the only one melding Stranger Things with real life; last weekend, Toronto transformed into the Upside Down for a Nuit Blanche instalment.

Elsewhere, a Chicago bar brought scenes from the Duffer Brothers' hit TV show to real life, but were (very gently) slapped with a legal warning from Netflix to shut down soon.

As previously reported, Stranger Things returns to Netflix for its second season on October 27.
