The State alum Michael Showalter recently starred in Netflix's Wet Hot American Summer reboot, and now he's back behind the lens with his next film.
Hello, My Name Is Doris looks like a truly unique and charming comedy. Sally Field stars as Doris, a 60-year-old who becomes smitten with a younger man (Max Greenfield). Following him around, she becomes entangled with New York's hippest youths, attending underground concerts and joining ironic knitting clubs. Tone wise, it's very similar to Showalter's film The Baxter.
