Following up on the promise of YG and A$AP Ferg's 2013 tag-team single "Click Clack," the rappers are now set to hit stages together on an upcoming fall tour.
Despite YG residing in Compton and the Trap Lord coming out of Harlem, the tour is going by the extremely diplomatic title of the "BestCoast Connection Tour." It all begins next month out in Philadelphia, and they will cross the U.S./Canada border to play a show at Toronto's Sound Academy on November 19. You'll find all of the date and venue specifics down below.
In addition to regular tickets to the performances, both YG and Ferg are offering up separate meet-and-greet packages. If you want to learn more about YG's Krazy Life and nab yourself a Bompton hat in the process, or would love to shake the hand of A$AP Mob's resident Hood Pope, you can find out more information about the VIP opportunity over here.
Earlier this month, Ferg claimed that he was putting the finishing touches onto his sophomore follow-up to 2013's Trap Lord. Though the album's without a title or street date, the rapper noted that he's trying to get a couple more producers involved with the project and he's just "gonna keep going until the label tells me I can't go on anymore."
When grilled about the direction of the album, he told XXL: "I can definitely tell you it's going to be crazy and it's the new Ferg; it's not A$AP Ferg, it's not Trap Lord, it's Ferg and I'm giving my all and I'm going in. I'm going in deep, like I'm telling true stories and it's gonna be crazy."
Tour dates:
11/13 Philadelphia, PA - the Electric Factory
11/14 Providence, RI - Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel
11/16 Silver Spring, MD - The Fillmore Silver Spring
11/17 New York, NY - Best Buy Theater
11/18 Royal Oak, MI - Royal Oak Music Theatre
11/19 Toronto, ON - Sound Academy
11/22 New Haven, CT - Toad's Place
