Former romantic partners (and still current bandmates) We Were Lovers are finishing up work on their sophomore album, and they've already teased us with a new single called "Glory Days." That track has now been given the visual treatment, and you can get your first look at the brand new video right now.
The duo's polished synth-pop tune has been paired with a video that transports the viewer into a VHS-esque dream world, directed by Colby Richardson. It follows a young girl's unconscious mind into a realm of fuzzy technicolour flora and fauna, where she meets a Cosmic Goddess that grants her the power to control her own dreams.
It's a colourful psychedelic trip replete with funky flowers and galloping zebras, and you can join the girl on her night-time journey into dreamland by watching video premiere for "Glory Days" below.
Scroll past the band's upcoming summer shows in Western Canada to check it out.
Tour dates:
06/23 Swift Current, SK - Long Days Night Festival
06/26 Saskatoon, SK - Sasktel Jazz Festival
09/15-18 Victoria, BC - Rifflandia Festival
