Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard has been hosting his mostly-daily, sometimes-weekly livestream concerts from isolation for about month now, and during Thursday's session (April 16), the artist treated his listeners to a very special Neil Young cover.
His latest "Live from Home" session kicked off with a pared-down version of DCFC's Plans track, "Your Heart Is an Empty Room," and continued for a solid 48 minutes. Around the 45-minute mark, Gibbard introduced his favourite Neil Young & Crazy Horse classic, the 1975 Zuma song, "Don't Cry No Tears."
In addition to his cover, the artist also performed Death Cab's "A Movie Script Ending," "Styrofoam Plates," "Photobooth" and more.
