Stars have announced a North American spring tour in support of last year's From Capelton Hill, and they've also unveiled a Benjamin Gibbard remix from that same album.
Stars will tour the UK and Europe in February before returning to North America for their Hoping for Spring Tour. This includes four Ontario shows: two nights in Creemore, followed by stops in Paris and Hamilton.
As for the Gibbard remix, the Death Cab for Cutie leader put his own spin on "Snowy Owl." Stars singer Torquil Campbell said in a statement, "Ben's one of my dearest friends, and our tour with Death Cab way back when was such a pivotal moment in our career, so it feels incredibly happy and good to put this remix out into the world. And what a remix it is, gifted with Ben's innate melodicism, but tougher and more groovy than the original version as well. We love it, and we're so happy to share it with you all."
