'Ho! Ho! Ho! Canada 6' (album stream)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Dec 17, 2014

No two snowflakes are exactly the same, they say, so UK publication The Line of Best Fit has collected another batch of Canadian-made Christmas songs for the latest instalment of its annual Ho! Ho! Ho! Canada series.

This year the yuletide cheer is spread by the likes of ex-Snailhouse guy Michael Feuerstack, who slides into a lightly strummed narrative about shoveling drives on "Blue Light II," or Charlotte Cornfield, whose "Last Winter" delivers a rootsy indie jangle condemning the conditions of the previous snowy season, striving to keep warm with friends this time around. The Acorn's "Sleepwalker" is a woozy late-night wanderer, with a beautiful duet, detuned strums and cricket chirps pushing it forward through the night.

Elsewhere throughout the 21-song set, which contains several exclusive tracks, you'll find material from Tony Dekker and the Burning Hell, Jim Bryson, Felicity Williams, Kashka, Kim Gray and more. You'll find a stream of the seasonal treat down below. You can also download all the tracks over here on SoundCloud.
