Members of Montreal metal outfits like Arseniq33, Ghoulunatics and Les Ekorchés have come together in a ferocious new formation under the banner of Vantablack Warship, and they're just about ready to drop their debut self-titled EP. Before it's out next week, though, Exclaim! is giving you a chance to hear it early and in its entirety.
"Vantablack Warship are pleased to offer this collection of intense metal riff collages, which we hope you will enjoy," the band said in a statement. It was followed up with a warning that, "This ain't no Loveboat!"
Instead, the six-song offering serves up some seriously dark fare, opening with the crushing "Irreversible Kill" and then unleashing an aggressive aural assault throughout tracks like "From Silents to Haunting Possesions," "The Pit" and "You'll Burn For This."
