They and the Children

I’m not much of a fan of experimental hardcore, and almost halfway through this album I was sticking to that opinion. But then "Exploding Inevitable” began unfolding and suddenly intrigue began finding the weak spots of my hard shell. And soon enough the remaining tracks had done the same with their sometimes haunting and serene melodies, alternating fast and slow pacing, rippling rhythms and mesmerising guitar work. Where I’d normally criticise a band for taking too far a leap into unknown territory, this time I’m applauding them, as Home serves up an interesting array of songs unlike any I’ve heard before.
