After teaming with director Mike Mills and dancer Sharon Eyal for their "Hairpin Turns" video, the National have enlisted the pair for another new set of visuals.
This time around, I Am Easy to Find cut "Hey Rosey" gets the video treatment, and you can watch Eyal's moves in the player below.
"I had always loved the work of Sharon Eyal, especially her improvisation," Mills said in a statement. "Luckily she was also a fan of The National and we began talking about her doing some dance work around the new record."
He continued: "For 'Hey Rosey,' we asked [Eyal] to be a continuation of Alicia Vikander's character in I Am Easy to Find — a side of that character we didn't see in that film, the unconscious of that character, but really left that for Sharon to interpret. I think in subtle, strange, but really powerful ways she found movements and gestures that echo the feelings and themes in 'Hey Rosey.'"
I Am Easy to Find is out now. Mills also helmed an accompanying short film that shares a title with the album.
The National will also release a new live album in November as part of Record Store Day Black Friday 2019.
