Just before taking off on a tour with Cloud Nothings, Vancouver trio the Courtneys are gifting us with a new video. It's for their song "Minnesota" from 2017's II, and the clip emerges as the group's very own ski video.

The video was filmed at Mount Washington on Vancouver Island, and according to a press release, it is inspired by '90s videos by Dinosaur Jr. and the Breeders, specifically the former's "Out There" video.

In a statement, the Courtneys had this to say of the clip, ""Minnesota' talks about snow, so we had the idea early on to a do a ski video. Sydney and Courtney used to snowboard together after work, and Jen loves everything winter-related, so it was a blast to make. We recruited Rick, Courtney's stepdad, to get action shots for us and Courtney's mom makes a cameo as a stunt double!"
