Verboden — Canada's premiere darkwave festival — returns to Vancouver for its seventh edition this year. From May 9 through 12, the fest will take over historic venues including the Rickshaw, the Pearl, Waldorf and Green Auto, bringing a diverse array of over 40 artists and DJs to the city's downtown core.
Among those 40 acts are goth-pop vets the Mission UK, local faves ACTORS, the Shannon Funchess-led industrial goths Light Asylum, Montreal mainstay Marie Davidson, former Suicide member Martin Rev, Parade Ground, ULTRA SUNN, Buzz Kull, Urban Heat and more.
