Terra Lightfoot has shared an update from the road amid her coast-to-coast No Relation Tour, which will keep her on the move until mid-October.
Broadcasting via a Sonic Unyon newsletter, the Hamilton-based singer-songwriter shared tales of the road, including a heartwarming meeting-of-minds and soundtracking a newlywed couple's first dance.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer so far. The band and I have been out on the road for a couple of days for the #NoRelationTour
Our Winnipeg tour kickoff performance was simply fantastic! I had gotten word that a local musician, Bucky from the Honeysliders, has been covering "No Hurry" in his set, so we had him up to take over on vocals. Heartwarming!
We also got to provide a real first dance for a couple who got married during the five-person capacity gathering limit in 2020…Ozzy and Alicia had selected my song "Love You So" for their first dance, and when they came to the show in Winnipeg, I dedicated it to them and they had a Second Dance in front of a much bigger crowd ;) Truly a beautiful moment.
Hope you'll come out and spread the word about the rest of these shows in Red Deer, Calgary, Canmore and beautiful Rossland, BC! I'm also playing Wild Mountain Music Festival, South Country Fair and Squamish Constellation Festival with artists like Whitehorse, Andy Shauf and Sarah McLachlan.
