The rumours are true! Taylor Swift is a cat lady and she isn't afraid to embrace it in her second-ever TikTok video.
Yesterday (August 25) the 31-year-old singer (and star of the now-infamous 2019 film Cats), took to the app to share a throwback 2014 interview from talk show Live with Kelly and Michael.
In the clip, Swift says: "Before I got the second cat, I was kind of canvassing everyone I knew, saying is cats, cat lady? Two cats is cats and there's more than one. And they're like, 'No, three cats is a cat lady, two cats is a party.'"
Swift then cuts to herself in 2021, walking across the screen holding her cats. Per her past self, Swift is officially a cat lady and she's OK with it. "Little did she know," Swift captioned the TikTok.
Earlier this week, Swift joined TikTok, announcing that she has "lots going on at the moment," in her first video.
We're glad Swift is embracing her cat mom life, but we won't be streaming Cats anytime soon.
