Swedish folk fellow the Tallest Man on Earth's new album is rather cryptically called Dark Bird Is Home, and now he's shed a little light on that Dark Bird by sharing the title track.
The song begins as a quiet ditty consisting entirely of acoustic strums and a warm and cozy vocal melody with conciliatory lines like "This is not the end / No, this is fine." The arrangement remains solo for more than three minutes, but a full band eventually enters and the song swells to a lofty climax in its final passage.
