Slint Add Vancouver Date to Reunion Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 10, 2014

Nineties post-rock faves Slint revisited their classic sophomore set Spiderland this year with a deluxe box set, and now it appears as if Vancouver fans will get the chance to hear the outfit dust off those tracks onstage this summer.

A press release confirms that Slint will be heading out on tour to promote the reissue and will be hitting Vancouver's Rickshaw Theatre on August 29. It's unclear at present if there is a full North American tour taking place this summer, but currently the reunited band have other shows booked at Kentucky's Forecast Festival in July and at Los Angeles' Fuck Yeah Fest on August 23. The group had previously played a series of U.S. shows in May.

You'll find the confirmed tour info down below.

As previously reported, Touch and Go repackaged Spiderland in April and filled the box with a remastered version of the LP, 14 outtakes and demos, and a 104-page book with photos and liner notes.

UPDATE: Slint have now added a few more West Coast dates, which you can see below.
