After releasing her new EP Our Extended Play last week, beabadoobee — a.k.a. Beatrice Laus — made her late-night debut on Fallon over the weekend, with an assist from fellow Brits Simon Pegg and People Just Do Nothing's Asim Chaudhry.
For the performance, Chaudhry offered up his services as a guest DJ for Laus' house party, while Pegg came in to eat ice cream and do fist bumps on the sidelines.
According to a previous statement, the song, which was co-written with the 1975's Matty Healy and George Daniel, finds beabadoobee "reflecting on how it would feel if we all knew ahead of time what was going to happen," with the pandemic — so the party metaphor really rings true.
