British bedroom popster Beatrice Laus — a.k.a. beabadoobee — releases her new EP Our Extended Play today, and to mark the occasion, she has announced a 2021 tour with a couple of stops in Canada.
Kicking off in Washington, D.C., on November 1, the tour will make stops along the way at Vancouver's Rickshaw Theatre on November 28 and Toronto's Danforth Music Hall on December 9. The 26-date trek concludes in Pittsburgh on December 11.
Laus will tour in support of her 2020 record Fake It Flowers, as well as her new EP, which was co-written with Dirty Hit labelmates Matty Healy and George Daniel of the 1975.
Here's what Laus said of the collaboration:
This EP was made in a really collaborative way during a time where it was really difficult to do that and I feel so lucky to have gotten to make it with my band and Matty and George. I hope it can bring people together in some way, that's really what these songs are about, that feeling of togetherness that's been missing a lot in the last year. It feels like a bridge to what's coming next too.
Today, Laus has also shared a new the Rest-directed music video for the effort's lead track, "Cologne."
Watch that, listen to Our Extended Play, and see beabadoobee's full schedule of events below.
