Even the likes of Noah Kahan are rooting for the Edmonton Oilers in this year's Stanley Cup Final between them and the Florida Panthers. After last night's win, the Panthers currently have a 2–0 series lead. But it's fine! Let's celebrate anyway!
The NHL and Rogers have announced Festival at the Final, a free concert series to take place in Scotiabank Fan Park outside Rogers Place ahead of the next two games — and they've recruited newfangled Canada's Got Talent judge Shania Twain and fellow CanCon icons Our Lady Peace, who count Serena Williams as a fan.
Our Lady Peace will perform ahead of Game 3 on Thursday (June 13), while Twain takes the stage Saturday (June 15) before Game 4 of the series. Both shows will start at 4 p.m. MT and don't require tickets for entry.
Portions of the concerts will be featured in broadcast coverage of the Stanley Cup Final hockey games, which begin at 6 p.m. MT on Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, TVA Sports, and CBC in Canada, as well as ABC, ESPN6+, and ESPN Deportes in the US.
