Let's march, girls! It's been announced that Shania Twain will serve as parade marshal, as well as performer, at this year's Calgary Stampede.

The top-selling woman in country music of all time will lead the parade through the streets of the city to kick off the festivities at 9 a.m. MT on July 4, ahead of playing the Scotiabank Saddledome the following day (July 5). This will mark Twain's first time performing at the Stampede since 2014.

"The city of Calgary and the province of Alberta have always held a very special place in my heart," the singer-songwriter said in a press release. "The Calgary Stampede is an amazing celebration of Western heritage and culture and embodies the true spirit of Calgarians and Canadians. I look forward to being part of it again, not only playing at the Saddledome on the first Saturday of Stampede, but also on horseback riding through the streets of downtown Calgary."

She'll join previous Stampede parade marshals like Bing Crosby, Kevin Costner and William Shatner, with this year's event taking place through July 13. Twain is also currently serving on the judging panel for the fourth season of Canada's Got Talent.
