A couple of months prior to the release of Shamir's debut album Ratchet, the British dance-pop singer appears to have been transformed into a puppet. We see this play out in the video for "Call It Off."
As Shamir sings along with the banging, hook-filled anthem in a clothing store, we see his skin transforming into fabric and he morphs into a puppet. He then infects a few of his fellow shoppers, roping them in with string and turning them into puppets also. This quirky footage is intercut with some flashy shots of the flesh-and-blood Shamir.
