After spending the fall taking the tracks from 2004's...Is a Real Boy across U.S. stages, pop-punk band Say Anything have detailed a forthcoming anniversary box set behind the album.
We're still several months off from the release, but Doghouse Records aim to have the vinyl box out by May 1. Spread out across four pieces of 10-inch vinyl will be the original 13 cuts from the 2004 LP, the seven bonus songs from an expanded CD edition delivered in 2006, and the extra cut "Walk Through Hell."
The first 2,500 boxes will also include a 7-inch featuring two previously unreleased tracks. The 45's "Under the Influence" was a demo tracked ahead of the sessions for ...Is a Real Boy, while "Belt" is an acoustic version of the album opener dating back to 2004.
The 10-inch set arrives in a custom box, packaged together with a booklet featuring stories and era-specific photos. You can also pick up the box in a few different ways, with one version including test pressings of each release. You'll find out all the info on pressing numbers and colour variants over here.
As previously reported, Say Anything's fall tour with Saves the Day capped, um, explosively when frontman Max Bemis vomited onto a security guard during a performance of ...Is a Real Boy number "I Want to Know Your Plans."
