Yesterday (January 5), we reported that Katie Crutchfield's Waxahatchee project would be delivering a new album in 2015, but she's not the only one in the family dishing out new music.
Katie's twin and Swearin' frontwoman Allison Crutchfield has released a charming cover of Lucinda Williams' "Something About What Happens When We Talk." Performed as a duet, Crutchfield gets some help from Radiator Hospital singer and frequent collaborator Sam Cook-Parrott. Most recently, the pair worked together on Crutchfield's Lean in to It EP.
The lo-fi, acoustic rendition of the track maintains the sentiment of the original, but adds a little grit. It was recorded for a session with The Media and you can give it a listen below.
