Said the Whale are gearing up for their anticipated Cascadia album, and today they've given us another taste via the new song "Level Best."
"I wrote this song for my son," said the band's Tyler Bancroft in a statement. A press release further elaborates that "'Level Best' is a tribute to a father's love; a modern day 'Cat's in the Cradle.'"
Listen to "Level Best" below, where you'll also find the second episode of a three-part mini-doc series featuring each band member. This particular episode focuses on Bancroft.
Cascadia will arrive on February 8 via Arts & Crafts. It marks the band's follow-up to 2017's As Long as Your Eyes Are Wide.
Said the Whale are about to head out on tour with Mother Mother, and you can see all their dates here.
