Rage Against the Machine have once again postponed the start of their highly-anticipated reunion tour with Run the Jewels.
The "Public Service Announcement Tour" was due to kick off March 31 in El Paso, TX, after a 2021 postponement, but will now begin July 9 at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, WI.
The tour's spring leg — which includes Western Canadian dates in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Winnipeg — will now be rescheduled. Meanwhile, the summer leg of the tour remains intact, with festival stops in Ottawa and Quebec City, and standalone dates in Hamilton and Toronto.
You can find an updated North American itinerary below.
Rage Against the Machine first announced their reunion plans all the way back in 2019. Last year, bassist Tim Commerford affirmed that he and his bandmates would not be "sellouts" and play drive-in concerts.
While the band have yet to deliver new music since 2000 covers collection Renegades, they treated 2001 live album The Battle of Mexico City to a vinyl release for Record Store Day 2021. Tour mates Run the Jewels last shared RTJ4 in 2020.
Rage Against the Machine's reunion tour is one of the most anticipated live music events of 2022, according to respondents of Exclaim!'s 2021 Readers Poll.
