Following last year's Marigold, Pinegrove have returned with plans for their fifth studio album 11:11. The record is due to arrive on January 28 through Rough Trade.
The album, self-produced and mixed with the help of Chris Walla, is said to spend "equal time on optimism, community [and] reaffirming our human duty to look out for one another."
"Calling the record 11:11 should be a heartening statement, though there's certainly a range of emotion across the album," singer/guitarist Evan Stephens Hall said of the record in a statement.
"There's much to be angry about right now, and a lot of grief to metabolize," he continued. "But hopefully, the loudest notes are of unity, collectivity, and community. I want to open a space for people to feel all these things."
Today, Pinegrove preview the forthcoming effort with new single "Alaska," which follows the release of album cut "Orange" from earlier this year.
The band's new batch of tunes are due to be performed live on their upcoming 2022 tour, which will see them making stops in Montreal and Toronto next February.
