Lollapalooza was cancelled this year due to COVID-19, but to now make the best of things, the festival is hosting a massive four-night livestream event. And it will include a Porno for Pyros reunion, marking Perry Farrell and co.'s first performance in over a decade.

The newly announced Lolla2020 livestream promises 150 performances and various appearances, including archival footage from previous editions of the festival, as well as new original performances.

Among those new performances will be Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell reuniting his Jane's Addiction offshoot Porno for Pyros, who broke up in 1998 and have rarely emerged ever since. Besides performance at Farrell's 50th birthday party back in April 2009, there have only been hints of a reunion, with it only now becoming some sort of reality.

Beyond the Porno for Pyros reunion, Farrell will also be leading a David Bowie tribute during the Lollapalooza livestream, as well as doing special performance of Kind Heaven Orchestra featuring Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins. Farrell will also be moderating various conversations throughout the event, including some with Metallica's Lars Ulrich and Public Enemy's Chuck D.

Other new original performances set for  Lolla2020 include Kali Uchis, Vic Mensa, Jamila Woods, Tanks and the Bangas, Pink Sweat$, H.E.R. and more.

The archival footage, meanwhile, will include past festival sets from Paul McCartney, Metallica, the Cure, OutKast, LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire, Lorde, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and many more.

Lollapalooza's Lolla2020 livestream runs from July 30 to August 2, starting at 5 p.m. CT each night on YouTube and the Lollapalooza website. The full schedule will be revealed Wednesday (July 29).
