Pelican Announce North American Dates with Nothing and Tombs, Play Vancouver

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 26, 2014

Long-running instru-metal quartet Pelican got back in the game last year with their Forever Becoming LP and have now announced they'll be taking the complex song cycle out for a North American tour.

Up first for the Illinois ensemble will be a quick trip around the Midwestern United States that will have them sharing stages with Philadelphia shoegazers Nothing. The following month, Pelican hit the West Coast with Tombs and will bring themselves up to Vancouver for a show at the Rickshaw Theatre on June 18. Their travels then continue with a quick trek in Australia.

You'll find all of the details down below.

As previously reported, Forever Becoming is Pelican's first full-length effort since 2009's What We All Come to Need and features the recorded debut of guitarist Dallas Thomas, who replaced Laurent Schroeder-Lebec in 2012.
