Following this summer's My Friends album, PEI pop-rock combo Paper Lions will spend the coming months promoting it. Not only have they unveiled a new performance video, they've mapped out an extensive tour that will keep them busy through November.
The band will be in the U.S. this month before spending the rest of the fall bouncing back and forth across the border, playing a number of shows in Ontario and Quebec before touring across Western Canada in November. Scroll past that to watch a simple performance clip for "My Friend," in which the band run through the breezy, keyboard-driven indie-pop tune live in a dimly lit room while a disco ball spins overhead. The visuals are simple, but we see some overlaid shots of the band playing their instruments.
Guitarist Colin Buchanan said in a statement [via AUX], "Shot on the beautiful Charlottetown waterfront, we got together with good friend and fellow Belfast native Mille Clarkes. We wanted to try three different lighting techniques for the three different videos we shot. Sure disco balls have been done before, but they are just too damn fun!"
