After premiering their "Believer" single near the end of 2015, Charlottetown indie pop quartet Paper Lions have announced some more details behind their next full-length release. Titled Full Colour, the album is expected to brighten up our lives this spring via Fountain Pop Records.
An official ETA has yet to be locked down, but the album is expected to be released this April. While a tracklisting has likewise yet to be offered up, Paper Lions have gone ahead and revealed the neon face paint-splotched cover art, which you can see up above.
Additionally, the band have premiered a new video for the previously teased album track "Believer," which had been given a lyric video treatment back in October. The clip can be seen below, courtesy of Pop Matters.
While the specifics are still shaping up around Full Colour, the record marks the first LP release from the Maritimes troupe since 2013's My Friends. A press release explains that the act have been working on the song cycle for two years, and the album should present a "more spirited and pop-infused selection" of material.
Fans can pre-order the set as a digital, CD or vinyl release now through Pledge Music, where Paper Lions are also offering up incentive packages that include signed drum sticks, T-shirts, disposable cameras used by the band while on the road, and more. More info can be found here.
