While the release of Orville Peck's forthcoming EP Show Pony has been delayed for the time being, the masked cowboy has now shared an unrelated Bronski Beat cover for Spotify's Pride Singles series to tide us over.

Taking on the group's '80s hit "Smalltown Boy," Orville has shown off his sparsely deployed but stunning falsetto on the new cover, which was released earlier today. The track was recorded at home as coronavirus restrictions remain in effect.

The U.K. synth-pop group first released the song on 1984's The Age of Consent. All members of the band were openly gay.

Orville Peck's latest full-length release, his debut record Pony, arrived back in early 2019.
