Ahead of Mick Jenkins dropping his debut studio full-length, The Healing Component, the Chicago rapper has lent his skills to a new song from producer oddCouple. A subtle swerver that also features bars from Webster X, the insightful piece is called "Blinded."
The tune will be a part of oddCouple's forthcoming Liberation LP, and the preview is full of lightly warped synth bends, cavernous snaps and the occasional explosion of drums. Above this, we hear a sung hook about awesomeness of Floetry, Sade and Lauryn Hill, and then some confident spitting from Webster X and Mick Jenkins.
A due date has not been announced behind Liberation, but you can check out "Blinded" down below, courtesy of Complex.
