Prolific Vancouver popsmith Nicholas Krgovich has announced a new album. Ducks is a collection of solo four-track recordings, due out March 10 through Orindal Records.
Ducks follows Krgovich's recent Joseph Shabason collaboration, At Scaramouche, and unlike the jazzy synthpop soul of that album, this album is a lo-fi collection of home recordings. At announcement compares it to Yo La Tengo's quieter material and the Beach Boys' Smiley Smile.
