New Kids on the Block will not be on any of those surrounding Bay Street: the boy band have cancelled their Toronto concert, which was slated to take place next Wednesday (July 20) at Scotiabank Arena.
Tickets for the show were honoured from its previously scheduled date of June 22, the group having already postponed the Toronto stop on their current North American arena tour back in October.
NKOTB took to social media today to announce the news, writing: "Due to circumstances beyond our control, it is unfortunately impossible to present our show the way it is intended. Therefore, we will not be able to bring the Mixtape Tour to Toronto."
"We hope to be back as soon as we can, and look forward to seeing you on the road soon," they added.
Featuring Salt-N-Pepa, Rick Astley and En Vogue, the Mixtape Tour kicked off in Cincinnati on May 10 and is scheduled to continue through the month ahead of wrapping in Washington, DC, on July 23.
